Typical appearance, aroma and flavor of a german pilsner...It has a pale yellow body with a medium white head. Light floral hop in the aroma with mild pale malt and light sourish yeast. Medium bodied pilsner charactert with some malt in the taste with mild and herbal hop. Light bitterness in the short aftertaste. Fine, little bit better pilsner than the average other stuffs..

Apr 5, 2008 Updated: Jul 22, 2009Bottle (Karlruher Pilsener - also Moninger Frisches Pilsener). Very herbal (ginseng) hops aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Flavor primarily green grass hops with light malt notes. Very hoppy.

Aug 29, 2005 Served in a nice tulip-shaped glass with a green foot. Tap. Lemon aroma. Flowery flavor with lemon and cologne. An underlying but still firm hopbitterness. Maybe too flowery for my taste, but certainly a well made pilsener.

Dec 7, 2004 Bottled as Grafensteiner Pils: Poured a light yellow with a thin fizzy white head. Mild chemical cardboard aroma. Kind of a hot spicy pils from the hops. Slightly metallic. Avoid.
