It poured a pitch black liquid with a light brown foam. Smell and taste of chocolate and something burned. Smooth mouthfeel. Nice!

From SMÖF, 2009. Almost black in colour, with dense pale brown head. Rich chocolatey nose with mint and more hoppy than the old style Baltic Porter. Clean flavour profile, with apparent low levels of residual sugars. Bit like Gonzo, with a mish mash of darker malt flavours, that is not really any outspoken toasty or chocolatey flavours, just dark. An elegant and "modern" Baltic Porter that’s just very tasty. Low bitterness.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2009. Black color. Thick roasty aroma with charcoal, diesel oil, leather and apple. Firmly roasty flavor with charcoal, licorice, chocolate and leather. I found the diesel and apple aroma disturbing.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 18 Sep 2009) Black colour with huge, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with freshly ground coffee, dark bread and chocolate. Nice coffee bitterness. More than medium body. Dry. Very well balanced and tasty stout/porter.

Dark, almost opaque black color, steady brown head. Lots of milk chocolate, licorice and some tobacco in the nose. Smooth palate. Burnt malts, licorice, tobacco and some chocolate. Nicely balanced stout.

Draught@SBWF2009. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, burnt coffee, some liquorice, alcohol and also some berries. Flavour is quite much the same in a rather nice balance. Rather ashy finish. Clean, yet rather complex.
