Draught at the brewpub, Wallingatan location
Batch 64, brewed 1009-05-07

Black color, small head. Aroma of burnt malt and ashes. The mouthfeel is desert dry and quite light bodied, with strong flavor of black coffee that I can’t appreciate. It tastes like a Schwarzbier with no interest.

Draught at Monks Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm. Pours out in a dark brown colour with creamy tan-coloured head. Burnt sugar and cocoa in the aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of dark chocolate, roasted malts, brown sugar and coffee. Smooth and rounded mouthfeel. Medium-bitter finish of dark chocolate and fudge.

(Draught at Monk’s Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm) Muddy, dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with distinct notes of chocolate. Rather creamy. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, cream and a touch of bitternes in the finish. Medium body, fairly dry. Easy to drink and a decent porter.
