Hazy orange beer with coppery notes and a huge fluffy head. Spicy fruitiness with lemon and a hint of glace cherry. Alcohol bolsters well here, but does not overpower. Plum and citrus tones. Slightly duller taste, some wheat, warming, plummy and some softer light fruits. Palate has a smooth creamy sense with some bitter hop at the end. Very enjoyable drink.

It poured a hazy dark-golden liquid with a small white foam. Smell and taste of malt, honey and sugar. Its sweet and strong. Nice!

Draught at the brewpub, Wallingatan location
Batch 49, brewed 2009-03-05

Muddy orange color; creamy head; it has undefined particles suspended. The aroma is malty and fruity, pleasant, with some mellow cereals. Good body strength; it has sweet malt and caramel, better balanced later, also by the alcohol. Difficult to classify as Barley Wine; the aroma is better than the flavor. Not impressive.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy brownish amber, small head. Minty caramel and black currant upfront. Sweet and full bodied with dextrose, caramel and light grapefruit. Thick malt covered in pear and alcohol. Intensely warming with long mild bitter finish where black currant lingers.

Draught at Monks Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm. Pours out in a deep hazy amber colour with a sticky white head. Malty, vinous and resinous aroma of caramel, nougat, apricots and mango. Full-bodied with fruity and resinous notes of apricots, dades, figs and mild citric fruits. Long chewy, resinous medium-bitter finish of apricots and black cherries.
