Slightly dusty and medicinal malty, subtle fruity nose with present herbal and slightly flowery hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malty and yeasty-medicinal taste with hints of citrus and shy to moderate herbal hops; medium-dry yeasty spicy and again medicinal finish. Not really convincing (04.VIII.09). bierkoning (6084), La Tropica, Netherlands

Malty sweetish but also soft flowery milky hopbitter flavor, lingering on in the aftertaste. Just a hint of yeast. Pleasant landbier. beerlady (457), lucerne, Switzerland

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Flip-top bottle. Appealing hazy golden body below a big, white head. The aroma is bready with forward notes of grass and hints of citrus fruit. Underneath are also hints of caramel and cookie dough. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. The finish is lightly bitter and slightly tangy. Medium body with a slightly sticky texture. Pilsner like in many ways, but with a fuller body and added sweetness. Enjoyable. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 2, 2008 Pouring from a very cool 33cl flip-top bottle listed as 4.8% ABV: Deep gold colored pour with a fluffy, bright white head. Some light lacing ensues. Very pleasant aroma that includes notes of candied corn, butter, cinnamon and sugary toffee. Big, expansive carbonation on the tongue. Very complex and mouth filling for a lower ABV beer. Sweet to start, but lagerish and lightly hoppy on the back end. This is a great style that I need to learn more about. cgarvieuk (4208), Edinburgh, Scotland

It pours a beautiful hazy deep golden beer with a nice head. Hoppy nose. Notes of crackers, grapefruit and caramel accompanied by a huge amount of peanuts. The taste is nicely biscuity. Good hop character. Some peanut butter showing up. Beautiful lacing. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Dry citrussy finish with peanuts and crackers appearing. Additional comment: Actually rather boring. Malt accented. Still keeping the initial rating.
