Aug 7, 2009 (33cl swing top bottle) Slightly hazy, dark amber colour with a big and beige foamy head. Sweet dark and toasted malty aroma with caramel and shades of smoke far in the background. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Solid toasty malty base with caramel and cookies; sweet malty and moderately toasty finish with a low level of bitterness. All in all a decent unfiltered Dunkel (06.VIII.09).

Nov 5, 2003 [There has been used 20% smoked malt for this beer] The aroma is sweet malty with slight hints of the yeast. The color is amber and it has a beige head. The flavor is sweet and malty with notes of straw and grain. It has a rather dry finish without being especially bitter. A somewhat boring beer - though better than the Huusbier.
