(33cl bottle) Slightly hazy, mahogany colour with a beige, mid-sized foamy head. Sweet toast-malty and leafy aroma with notes of chestnuts and dark berries. Sweet flavour with a light burnt bitterness, full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toast-malty taste with caramel and a subtle underlying fruitiness. Sweetish, moderately toasty and shy fruity finish with lasting, slightly vinous aftertaste. Good (23.III.09).

Courtesy of Fonefan. Red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of raspberries, malt and caramel. The flavour is perfumed, sweet and has notes of berries, mostly raspberries, malt, caramel and it hides the ABV well. It is a bit weird, and even if I like raspberries, I find it a bit difficult to abstract from them...

Bottle, 8.5%. Vinous malt aroma. Dark brown colour. Big, semi-stable light brown head. The flavour is very good, quite malty, slightly dusty and roasted. On the sweet side, but with a good alcohol level to balance.
