mmather (101), Colorado, USA Apr 27, 2008 from a 12 oz bottle from WBC 08. very nice brew. Very delicate, yet very balanced and drinkable. Expectations were greatly exceeded by this beer. Very good lawnmower beer. Skyview (2342), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Nov 5, 2007 On draught at the brewery/restaurant in downtown, Billings, Montana. Pours a clear golden pale yellow brew with a nice white head that has a slow dissolve speed that leaves behind a nice thin head and excellent lacing. Aroma of fruity white bread malt, a touch of honey with some flowery hops. Taste is light to medium bodied smooth, lightly carbonated with flavors of light fruity malt, flowery hops and a touch of apple. Finish is semi-sweet, a touch of sweet apple and then a light bready malt aftertaste. Almost could have fooled me for a Kölsch. Tmoney99 (3285), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jul 7, 2006 Draft at brewpub. Clear pale color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a sweet finish of moderate duration. bitbucket (1311), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jun 24, 2006 Bottled sample from WBC06. Pours a pale straw color with a rocky but diminishing white head that leaves some lace. Where’s the gold? Some lightly citrus/floral notes in the aroma. Light body that gets a little watery, but not bad. Light carbonation. A bit of bread and nuts in the taste. Crisp pine/grapefruit finish. A decent alternative to the macro lagers. ontario102 (794), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 23, 2005 On tap @ pub: Light, malty aroma, no hop presence; grainy and light spicy hopping in the flavor; somewhat dry finish; mild, buttery malt off-notes; clear and straw colored, moderately light body; actually, overall, not bad for a pale lager.
