May 11, 2009 Tap at brewpub, many moons ago. Pours an average amber with an offwhite head. Aroma is stale raisin and off-season grape. Average mouthfeel. Other than the ABV, ti’s forgettable.

Dec 17, 2006 Hap on tap on 12 Dec 06. Wow, I didn’t expect to find any great beer in Las Vegas, but this one shone through. Pours a dark reddish brown. Aroma of fruit (apricot) Taste seems slightly astringent due to 11% alcohol content, then something seedy (like almond) and more dried apricot like fruit flavours. Bitter hops emerge in the end slightly reminicient of cherry cough syrup and citrus. Challenging. Shame that not too many seem to like this style, the barman told me they were going to toss the batcht out in a few days.

Apr 1, 2005 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a brilliant reddish amber, cloudy, with a medium tan head. Full aroma of fruit, date, malt, and plenty of hops. Similar flavor except some of the bitterness takes over, still very pleasant. Fuller bodied, alcohol is masked pretty well. Probably the best beer made in Las Vegas.
