Cornboy (417), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Sep 22, 2005 Started my night with this brew, poured a hay color, clear. Nice head, but that was it. overly noticable hops for the style, almost nothing after that. Bad start...next. MMM...Beer (385), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 1, 2004 Probably Monte Carlo’s best (unfortunately that doesn’t say much).
-Aroma: Soft floral hints
-Appearance: Typical bronze color...healthy stream of lace
-Flavor: A little too hoppy for my desires (like my Kolsch’s to be a bit more crisp)
-Palate: Okay
-Overall: Good lilannie (383), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 19, 2004 Aroma: sweet, malty, grainy aroma with some light floral scents as well
Appearance: golden yellow, small head
Flavor: very sweet, slightly grainy spicy yeasty taste
Palate: slight sour aftertaste--like yogurt; bubbly in texture mj (4971), Colorado, USA Jul 15, 2004 Updated: Jul 23, 2006Golden yellow and clear... but served with a lemon, WTF is with that? Bright lemon nose, with some crsip grainy qualities too. Light lemon, gritty leather or fabric texture, with some spicy bread at the end. Who knows if the lemon did all of this. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Jun 14, 2004 Updated: Jul 15, 2004(Draught) Pours a hazy maze color with a thin off-white head. Grainy, lemon aroma. Malt and light lemon flavor with some spices.
