KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA May 11, 2009 Tap at brewpub. Monica, where did you go? Pours a semi-viscous yellow with an aroma of chewed bubblegum. Flavor follows suit, albeit with a much weaker tone. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/06/2001

cloudy yellow, whispy head, light citrus aroma, tart wheat flavor, touch of banana, just a hint of bitterness in the finish

a bit more malt backbone, no bitterness, yeast character starts to show up about halfway through, a bit of tartness that may have been caused by an uninvited lemon found floating under the head, a bit bland compared to ’01, but that may be me

Cornboy (417), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Sep 22, 2005 This was one I figured to be a winner, wonderful appearance, unfiltered, appearance of banana puree in a glass with a healthy head. Aromas sadly were rather muted, almost like a hefe-light. Could it be to appeal to the masses? I am starting to wonder.
Strike two... Dansting (222), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Feb 1, 2005 Eh. It was okay. For those who love hefeweisens, probably a letdown. Light banana flavor. Cloudy. Not terrible. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Feb 4, 2004 bla, bla, bla,bla bla....this normal american hefe, nothing very good about, average, watered down, and for crying out loud a lemon!! this is to mask tast or lack of. go find yourself a real german beer in las vegas go to the hofbrauhaus and have a weisse, youll die. bluemeow76 (693), Lewis Center, Ohio, USA Jul 4, 2002 Pretty average hefeweizen, nice fruity tones & mine came with a lemon :) ಠַಠ (1375), San Francisco, California, USA Jul 1, 2002 Typical cloudy-pale hefe. Standard banana-clove flavor, maybe a bit of milkiness that added a degree of smoothness to the beer. Not bad at all, the second best beer they had next to the red ale. And not served with a fucking lemon, either. JessterCPA (130), Wayne, New Jersey, USA Sep 5, 2001 Great beer to go along with those blistering hot Las Vegas days. Worth the trip.
