Commercial Description:
High Roller Red is an exceptionally smooth, full-bodied amber ale. The caramel and toffee notes are established by a select blend of domestic and imported malted barley. The complex malt character is balanced by the fruity tones of our house yeast.

Tap at brewpub. Pours a weak and thin amber with a head of thin white. Aroma is whipsy and weak smoked malt. Flavor is blunt nut and feathers of hollow nut. Made for low rollers.

Bottle from the casino. poured a rich copper to amber color with a good head. Aroma of caramel and sweet roasted malts. Tasted of lightly roasted malts with a mild hoppiness. A pretty average beer that is very drinkable.

Draft in the Casino. This is my favorite of the casino’s offerings. Nothing remarkable about the bier but definitely better than the standard mass-produced bottles passed around the tables.

This is the one I was most impressed with per the style. A pretty good light caramel aroma and a beautiful red color. Not that malty, but nice and smooth.

On tap at the Monte Carlo. Copper colored beer with a thin off white head and a faint sweet grain nose. Light sour grain tinge with the first sip. Some roastiness follows, but mostly just caramel sweetness. Okay but not very interesting.

Tap, Monte Carlo. Dark amber color on the pour. Slightly sweet/acidic malty aroma. A hint of hops. Slightly malty flavor with English hop character.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of light foamy finely sized brown colored bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a transparent softly carbonated copper brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was caramel malty. The weak flavor contained notes of malt mild hops and caramel. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.
