Commercial Description:
High Roller Red is an exceptionally smooth, full-bodied amber ale. The caramel and toffee notes are established by a select blend of domestic and imported malted barley. The complex malt character is balanced by the fruity tones of our house yeast.

12oz bottle pours nice and clean amber/red color with no head. Aromas of chocolate and toffee with a small amount of hops. Huge malt taste with no bitterness and a nice carmel finish. Overall a good amber ale that is clean and full of specialty malts, but lacking the hop balance.

On tap @ Monte Carlo poured a clear reddish brown with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, toffee and dark bread. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, carmel and toffee with a smooth semi dry finish.

Amber color. Too light aroma. Medium mouthfeel, light malt, a little fermentation problem, caramel. Less bitter than the others.

On tap at the Monte Carlo. This beer poors a dark copper color. It’s medium bodied malty ale that goes down smooth with a long finish.

Pours a clear dark copper mahogany with a thin off-white head. Aroma of toasty, nutty caramel malts with some light sweetness, aroma hops and very true to style. Body starts semi-sweet with some toasted nutty flavor, light butterscotch and a touch of bittering hops. Finishes sort of bland and bittersweet. Not a bad red ale, but nothing that great either.

Has a nice sweet aroma, with some caramel and toffee. Light diacetyl and butter. Mild fruity hops. Hazy reddish amber with no head. Medium-light watery body with low carbonation. Rather bland on taste. Has some mild characteristics with feeble malt presence and very little hop character. Mild dry fruit skins and dry chalky after. Very little bitterness anywhere, and finishes with carbonic acidity.
