Commercial Description:
High Roller Red is an exceptionally smooth, full-bodied amber ale. The caramel and toffee notes are established by a select blend of domestic and imported malted barley. The complex malt character is balanced by the fruity tones of our house yeast.

This beer had a nice red color. Of all the Monte Carlo beers I tasted, this was my favorite. It had a nice smooth finish to it.

Smooth tasting and slightly sweet with very minimal hops bitterness. I was disappointed that this beer didn’t have a little more "bite". It is drinkable and fits the mold for the "subdued" beers that the Monte Carlo offers.

Clear ruby red, with faint malt/grassy aromas. Above average head. More hops flavor than the Jackpot Ale, not bad for a red beer.

brownish red in color, this ale had a malty aroma with a slight hop finish. some toffee tones were picked up but everything is fairly weak. another average brew from the monte.

Amber with quick diminishing head. Dark roasty balck malt snap to this. Thin palate, very clear medium hops.

Better than their Jackpot Pale Ale which ain’t saying much. Pours amber with a thin head. Smells and tastes of toffee, rose hips and some sugar.

Had a mild malt aroma. Best part of the beer here. Nice mahagany body color and good creamy texured head. Flavor was smooth because it tasted like arrowhead water.

Dark red amber with a nice fzzy head. Unpleasant sweet malt aroma. Flavor is slightly metalic malt and hops. BLAH.
