Apr 7, 2005 Bright Brick-amber colour. Toasty aroma with slight woody note. Has a lightish character with a slight caramel accent, earthy & toasty notes, minimal hopping and a sweetish finish.

Mar 27, 2006 Pours a clear dark copper mahogany with a thin off-white head. Aroma of toasty, nutty caramel malts with some light sweetness, aroma hops and very true to style. Body starts semi-sweet with some toasted nutty flavor, light butterscotch and a touch of bittering hops. Finishes sort of bland and bittersweet. Not a bad red ale, but nothing that great either.

Jan 6, 2006 Better than their Jackpot Pale Ale which ain’t saying much. Pours amber with a thin head. Smells and tastes of toffee, rose hips and some sugar.
