The caramel-chocolate-toffee flavors were quite nice as they lasted well into the finish. Well-balanced maltiness. vacek (67), College Station, Texas, USA

One of the coolest things is that it came in a mini-tap for only $13. Not bad for a little over 5 pints. Strong flavor. dwyerpg (2553), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

A pretty good light caramel aroma and a beautiful red color. Not that malty, but nice and smooth. realale420 (399), west covina, California, USA

Aromas of chocolate and toffee with a small amount of hops. Huge malt taste with no bitterness and a nice carmel finish. Overall a good amber ale that is clean and full of specialty malts, but lacking the hop balance. ratman197 (3273), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Aromas of carmel, toffee and dark bread. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, carmel and toffee with a smooth semi dry finish. warriorx99 (85), USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 14, 2004 Nice tan head, hazy dark amber body. Malt is dominating in the aroma with some light spices and fruit tones. Lots of malt in the flavor with a fine roasted tone. Spices, nutmeg and citrus in the end. Quite dry. freekyp (906), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA
