Commercial Description:
Jackpot Ale is a hearty golden copper clored ale with a pleasing hop aroma and flavor. The recipe was traditionally created to produce a beer strong enough to withstand journeys from the UK to India. The result os an assertive, full bodied beer with an enjoyable crisp hop bitterness.

Poured a fairly clear copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma of some hops, fruit, light caramel. Starts with some malt and finishes with light to moderate hops, both flavor and bitter. Light to medium body. Has balance for the most part but nothing really stands out.

light orange color with no head. Mild aroma and flavor. How is this called an IPA?

Golden-amber colour. Light c-hop aroma. Hints of bread and wood. Light bitterness for style. Passable.

Aroma of malt and hops, copper, small tan head. Flavour has quite a citrusy start, with a malt backbone. Medium bodied, balanced, very bitter. Really nice. Thanks IPFreely for a new state!

Bottle @ Radekfest. Light amber color with a small head. Aroma promises a nice hoppiness but it lies. Taste has honey, which I don’t care for in an IPA. Lively, chewy mouthfeel and a sweet maltiness. Some hops in there but nothing to speak of. Why would they get into bottling?

Slightly hazy copper w/ finger of off-white foam. Fresh citrus-y hop aroma w/ an underlying maltiness. Medium, slightly thin feel. Straight forward, uncomplicated, decently balanced flavour of caramel, pine, & grapefruit. Moderately bitter.

Interesting medium-brown with a dusty clarity. Lots of pineapple in the aroma, plus a good dose of citrus salad. Good initial bitterness, watery in the middle, then back to a long, bitter finish. Pleasant, chalky texture. Flavour contains a touch of malt but it’s the hops that dominate. A nice, muscular IPA.
