Commercial Description:
Jackpot Ale is a hearty golden copper clored ale with a pleasing hop aroma and flavor. The recipe was traditionally created to produce a beer strong enough to withstand journeys from the UK to India. The result os an assertive, full bodied beer with an enjoyable crisp hop bitterness.

From a sampler: Pours a light copper color with a thin off-white head that stayed awhile. Light hops and grapefruit in the nose. Medium-bodied and dry, with moderate floral hops, along with more subdued citrus and malt flavors. The finish is dry and lightly bitter. Overall not a bad IPA, they are on the right track with this.

Pale copper, well retentive head. Nose of grapefruit and pine. Flavor of dry sweet floral hops. Well balanced finish, good.

At Brewpub, Ok to good nose, sweet aromas, I thought of pine, oranges, little flowery. Orange amber color, ok head that faded quickly. Bitter sweet flavors, Same as aroma, initial bitterness , grapefruit, then got sweet, more like oranges. Toffeeish malts. Thin bodied, dry bitter finish. Tasty enough, though I might have called it a pale ale.

Draught on my wedding day at Monte Carlo Pub & Brewery, Las Vegas!
Clear dark amber beer with a fine off-white head. Hoppy and somewhat nutty aroma. Flavor is hoppy, flowery and fruity with a fine balanced bitterness. A nice and easy IPA.

Flavor is a pale and musty hop and bread, while the nose is sweet hops... scotch or maple syrup flavors, bitter, but unbalanced and bland.

Clear coppery appearance, moderate head. Good hoppy aroma, pine needles, spicey. Moderately carbonated, easy drinking palate. Well hopped, bitterness throughout, decent bite in the finish. Some sweet smooth lemony balance. Above average IPA.

Labeled as an IPA. Pours with an off-white, two-fingered head, fades soon and leaves a good lace. Light-medium carbonation. Clear amber color. Nose is hoppy, starts and finishes hoppy, lingering hoppy aftertaste but not as hoppy as some IPAs. Sold as part of a 6-pack from their gift shop for $13.92 by the casino in Las Vegas, NV.
