Commercial Description:
Jackpot Ale is a hearty golden copper clored ale with a pleasing hop aroma and flavor. The recipe was traditionally created to produce a beer strong enough to withstand journeys from the UK to India. The result os an assertive, full bodied beer with an enjoyable crisp hop bitterness.

Golden color. Too light aroma; white sugar. Some malty taste, nutty hop; too bitter final. The hop is lightly aromatic.

Pours a clear copper with a thin ring of white head. Aroma of dry sugar cookie dough with some faint earthy hops. Body starts with some sugary malt balanced with dry, earthy hops and thins considerably toward a lack-luster, watery and lightly bittersweet finish. Nowhere near enough hops to be a true IPA and the malt just doesn’t show any fullness or complexity.

Gold/copper with a white head. Smells lightly grassy and citrussy. No real developed hop profile. Tastes like something thrown together without thinking too carefully about what hop varieties produce what aroma/taste.

Flavor is a pale and musty hop and bread, while the nose is sweet hops... scotch or maple syrup flavors, bitter, but unbalanced and bland.
