fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Apr 13, 2006 Draught at the brewpub Dark amber color; thin creamy head. The aroma is lightly fruity. Tastes like a normal dunkel, with caramel and too much bitterness, with a light fruitness. Unbalanced. presario (2953), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jul 14, 2005 Colour is just slightly darker than their regular wheat. Aroma is raspberry jam. Flavour is all raspberry. Not overpowering but does nothing for me. PeterA (339), Virginia, USA Jul 4, 2005 Winners Wheat with some raspberry flavorings. Put the beers side by side and it’s almost like they poured raspberry syrup into the bottom of the glass before pouring the beer. The aroma was weak, and the flavor disappointing. The palate was unoffensive. richlikebeer (823), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 4, 2005 load of raspberry aroma, and nothing else, coming off a cloudy lite yellow body with a thin white head. unlike the marin bluebeery i had a night before this, this flavor was huge with fruit, in fact, the raspberry was pretty much all there was, not alot of the wheat flavor made it through at all. the aftertaste was abit tangy and metallic, even though this was a tap beer. Aubrey (2773), Denver, Colorado, USA Jun 5, 2003 Tasted just like the Winner's Wheat, except with an infusion of raspberry extract. Sugary-sweet raspberry flavors. Dry, somewhat parching bitterness in the finish -- most likely from the raspberry, as there isn't a large hop profile to speak of. Overall, maybe too sweet for my blood.
