Pours a nearly opaque black with a thin tan head. Has a dry, grainy, mild vegetable aroma with some roasted malt. Starts with a decent thickness, some sweet maltiness, hints of soy and a touch of hoppy bitter balance. Overall pretty drinkable and not as bad as its ratings may suggest.

Clean balance of chocolate malt and hops…One of the rare stouts you could drink in one big gulp…
