KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA May 11, 2009 Tap at brewpub. Pours an average yellow with a slightish aroma of off-bubblegum. Grassy, almost hay-like aroma gives way to a taste of the same. Thin, vinegary mouthfeel. Keep rollin’ the dice; this is a loser. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Updated: Sep 14, 2008Name: Winner’s Wheat

riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jul 16, 2007 I had numerous beers at Monte Carlo before the brewpub closed, the only ones I remembered are the Wheat and the Belgian Wit. This is a pretty generic American Wheat. Always served with a lemon. Cloudy. Wheaty with some citrus. Gets a higher rating due to it being made in the casino and served there as well. dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Dec 4, 2006 Looks nice and cloudy. Smells like a lemon since they stuck one in there. Very stingy and effervescent. Not what I want in my beer. Soda maybe, but not beer. jsquire (2086), St. Marys, Ohio, USA Nov 8, 2006 On tap at the Monte Carlo. Hazy yellow beer with a foamy white head. There is very little to this beer. Some doughy flavors, with some bitterness in the finish. Nothing offensive, and very chuggable, but it looks like a German wheat without delivering the taste. Boutip (2330), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Oct 16, 2006 Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy yellow color beer with a small bubbly white head with minimal retention. Aroma of wheat is a bit weak but still enjoyable. Taste of wheat is enjoyable but a bit too weak for my taste and lacking a bit of the banana feel I usually like. No hops were discernable and body is a bit watery with too much carbonation. mjg74 (1995), La Mesa, California, USA Oct 10, 2006 Draft, Monte Carlo. Hazy golden color on the pour. Slightly sweet aroma, somewhat grainy. Low carbonation. Flavor is grainy and somewhat bitter. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 19, 2006 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a hazy no visible carbonation yellow colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was mild malt and mild wheat. The mouth feel was smooth at the start and mediumly tingly at the finish. The weak flavor contained notes of mild hops and dough.
