Bottle from State Line. Pours turbid medium brownish with 1-finger khaki head. Nose is tart fruit, apple, pear, perhaps a touch of cherry and fig, and some malt, oak, and spicy yeast notes. Tastes fruity, a bit tart, with a solid dose of apple, pear, cherry, fig, yeast, oak, and malt flavors intermingling quite well together.

Jun 26, 2008 37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a slowly collapsing white head. Mild citric and medium dry brett aroma. Light creamy mouthfeel. Mild fruity yeasty flavour,light oak note mixed with a creamy yeasty flavour. Holds a nice mellow yeasty base with a nice brett accent. Light milky and citric finish. Nice one.

Jun 20, 2008 Bottle. [After party @ Papsoe, thanks buddy] Average creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy amber color. Aroma of sour note, fruit, caramel. Over the palate came sweet mix of fruit and almost strawberries like. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Light sweet and bitter flavor. Sweet fruity finish. 6 / 3 / 6 / 3 / 14

Cloudy amber color; creamy head. It’s a good Belgian Ale, with a balance between sweetness, malt, fruitness. Indeed the aroma is a bit vinous, and with very light vanilla too. Good mouthfeel, with a light astringency from the cask ageing. Very good.

May 12, 2008 Tasted at Bill’s Sour tasting. Cloudy aroma. Great aroma. I want to say raspberry, but I think it might be leftover from my previous beer. Very nice aroma, BUT the taste is like sticking a moldy foot into your mouth. Whoa.

May 12, 2008 deep amber pour with a nice head. aroma of spice, fruit, oak and light tartness. flavor was similar. light sourness, dark fruits and yeast with some oak. flavors work great together. really enjoyed this.
