Feb 15, 2008 Bottled. Almost black in colour with a medium sized off-white head. Lightly roasted and malty with notes of chocolate, liqourice and berries. Ok but a bit thin.

Very nice brew. Bitterness is decent. A bit too much locorice.

Dec 30, 2007 Bottle at Bagers (Thanks Sune). Dark dark brown - offwhite head. Licorice, roasted, light burned, dark berries, dark bread, light light chokolate. OK !!

Aug 16, 2007 Nice dark colours. Aromas a little cherry and raisen. Sweet with come complexity but a thin body lets it down. Nice dried fruit flavours but a typical lightweight version of a style that Monteiths are becomming known for.

Mar 3, 2007 Updated: Jan 2, 2008Pours a dark brown with a nice off white head, foamy head. Smells of malts and light milk chocolate. Mellow sweetness with flavors of malt and chocolate. Medium bodied. Sweet finish with a tiny hint of alcohol.
