Poured golden/amber with white head that didnt last too long. Floral hop aroma that was pleasant. Hop character is evident up front in the taste, but the malt come through in the end for a nice balance. Mouthfeel is good, and drinkability is good. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

clear amber, frothy white head,
light crisp citrus hop aroma,
mild sweet malt and citrusy hop flavor, nice bitter finish, the sweet malt and citrus hops continue to tag team all the way to the bottom of the pint glass,
a nice english pale ale that’s a bit on the agressive side,

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 26, 2007 Draught. Pours dark gold with a small fizzy white head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is light malt (meal), heavy hops (flower, citrus, pine), and light yeast (dough). Light bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation and a bitter finish. Light sweetness and acidity, heavy bitterness; floral hop flavor. brentfeesh (1039), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Sampled at the brew pub. Wispy head and lace on top of a light copper pour. Pine and citrus on the nose with hints of fresh grain. Not strong but pleasant. The flavor has orange citrus and spicy hops on a decent malt body that is semi-sweet. Citrus in the finish also. Creamy full mouth feel with a semi-dry finish. I’m actually wondering if this was a different Pale Ale than the one described on this site. This did not taste like what is described by other raters?? eaglefan538 (2385), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2006 Poured an amber type color with a mediocre initial head and weak lacing. The aroma was of caramel and some herbal and resinous tones. The flavor was pretty strong caramel for the style, coming off almost like there was really caramel candy in it initially. After a while (temp), the hops caught up, but this wouldn’t please a true hop head. Balanced. gputty (456), Virgina Beach, Virginia, USA
