Dec 7, 2008 on tap-pours a rich/patchy off white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is mild, nice medium malt, citrusy. Taste is nice citrus-grapefruit rinds-hops, balance/secondary/backbone of medium malt. Medium body.

Apr 11, 2009 Sampler. Pale golden color. Thin white head. Light citrus aroma, some breadiness. Very sweet malt character, hints of cotton candy flavor. All followed by a West Coast hop bitterness. Very balanced. A nice American Pale Ale. Very nice.

Jun 23, 2007 Pretty good pale ale. Piney taste, defenite hop character. No distinguishable malt taste.Not watery and easy to drink. Not as hoppy as some would like.

Mar 29, 2005 Pale, clear copper with the same frothy head as the others. Good herbal hops in the nose. The malt isn’t as big as in the Millenium Ale at Coast, but this one is more bitter. Good, crisp lingering bitterness takes over after the malt peks in the middle.

Apr 10, 2007 Sampled at the brew pub. Wispy head and lace on top of a light copper pour. Pine and citrus on the nose with hints of fresh grain. Not strong but pleasant. The flavor has orange citrus and spicy hops on a decent malt body that is semi-sweet. Citrus in the finish also. Creamy full mouth feel with a semi-dry finish. I’m actually wondering if this was a different Pale Ale than the one described on this site. This did not taste like what is described by other raters??

May 18, 2006 On tap at the brew pub. Poured orange with a white head and great lacing. Nice floral hop nose with decent body and bitter finish. Good malt backbone. Nice surprise in Montgomery.

Aug 29, 2003 Light citrus, caramel, diacetyls in the nose and flavor. Hoppy, but not over-wrought. This isn't going to set the world on fire, but a good complement to the chow at this pub. Nice clipped hoppy finish, good mouth.

Aug 1, 2005 Orange, tan head. Nicely spicy, savory, peppery aroma. Good malt base up front - caramel and toffee, the usual players - then a peppery, savory hop finish. Pretty tasty. Sampled at the 2005 Music City Brewer’s Fest.
