Commercial Description:
Our lightest color ale and best selling brew. This crisp refreshing ale will quench the largest thirst and leave one savoring the smooth clean flavor with a slight tettnanger hopped finish. Try a Montgomery Blond and you'll never have anything else again.

Sampler. Clear golden color, tall white head. Aroma of a loaf of wheat bread. Sweet and malty. Flavor is a rich pale malt. Sweet, full bodied (for a Golden Ale). Nice mouthfeel. Perfectly balanced. Nice hop finish. Calming bitterness. Lingering hop. Best American Blond Ale I can remember having.

Within style, this was probably the best beer offered on my visit to Montgomery Brewing. Great malt and hop balance, almost tasted like there was a touch of wheat in the base to go along with some light honey and a light grassy flavor in the hop finish. Lacing was excellent and this one poured the usual golden blond color with a decent initial head and great lacing. Very refreshing.

Not that great. Very light color. Some strawberry flavor, mainly wheaty. A very smooth drink, low carbonation. A little watered down but a good overall taste.

Clear gold, frothy head that fades to a brussels lace. Bright, slightly citrusy aroma. Fairly strong straw malt in the flavor. Malt lingers in the finish.

On tap at the brewpub. The body was pale yellow with a white head. The aroma was sweet donuts and peaches. The taste was very malty with some donuts and notes of bell pepper spice. Clean.

Wheaty aroma on this yellow beer, but it drinks smooth and citric with a biscuity finish. Best this brewpub has to offer.

Draft at GABF. Clear golden with a small white head. Nose is citrus and wheat. Flavor is a light bitterness and slight sweetness. Note a bad blonde.

Appearance: Pours a clear yellow body with a full, foamy white head. Smell: Light aroma of lightly sweet-smelling cereal with no more than a pinch of floral hops. Taste: Light maltiness with a decent amount of sweetness that soon blends into a floral hop flavor with a subdued bitterness. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: What can I say? It’s a Blonde Ale!
