blipp (683), Grand Island, New York, USA May 14, 2008 Draft at Mony’s Korner. Bitter aroma of floral hops. Medium body. Flavor is floral hops with a solid lightly roasted malt presence. Nice.
hopson (469), Williamsville, New York, USA Mar 14, 2007 My boy Jesus never leads me astray, and those near Consumer on Transit know who I am talking about. However, this beer was not nearly as good as he said it would be. I got a growler of it..Mistake. Little to no head, very faint hop aroma, so malty this should not be considered an IPA. Tastes like caramel. Hate to be so harsh, especially to a local brewer, but this is just not very good. Lubiere (3184), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Oct 24, 2006 Cask. A dark orange amber ale with no head. Typical hops aroma, with notes of oranges, nice. In mouth, the same wet grains than EPA, too much grains, not boiled enough. Bizarre and not good. The Real Beer Expo - Rochester, NY, Oct. 21, 2006. GTown (126), New York, USA Oct 2, 2006 Draught at Monty’s Krown. Pours amber/deep copper with small head and minimal lacing. Dark crystal malt mix puts this IPA in the upper-mid range of IPAs. Nice to see a decent IPA from a local brewery. zach8270 (1404), Henrietta, New York, USA Aug 31, 2006 (draft @ Monty’s Korner - Rochester, NY) Deep copper/brown pour with a thin brown head. Aroma has lots of hops and citrus notes with some very light malts. Flavor is very hoppy at the beginning with some light malts to balance it out and a nice hoppy and bitter finish. A bit on the watery side.
