| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 25, 2006 (On tap) Clear pilsener golden with a white head. Very discreet aroma with a vague, hoppy edge. Medium body with some pilsener malt and a clean, lightly floral bitter end. A nice alternative to a lager. 010406 Oakes (8142), Kowloon, Hong Kong
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 9, 2009 Golden, sparkly. Light fresh bread aroma. Bread, light herbal hop palate. No overly kolsch-like, but a nice basic beer. jcwattsrugger (5578), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 11, 2007 on tap-pours a retaining foamy white head that laces and hazy straw color. Aroma is light grain. Taste is light grain, creamy then flat hops. Light/medium body. OK effervescence. Occasional. hopscotch (5537), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Feb 14, 2007 Draft... Clear, light yellow (cold-lagered) ale with a small, creamy, white head. Grainy, acetaldehyde bomb aroma... much like Budweiser. Grainy flavor leans on the bitter side of balance. Mild toffee sweetness. More ethanal... yuck. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes acerbic and/or biting. MartinT (5075), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 14, 2007 My Bottom Line:
Timid citrus fruit and crisp grain unite in an overly delicate flavor profile made for long sessions. Ultra-clean and drinkable, this lacked character to reach me that day.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the clear pale blond.
-The watery passages are not necessary, imho.
-Some wooden hops appear in the back, very subtly.
-I am usually a proponent of well-crafted lagers, but I have to admit this one did not appease my appetite for the style.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 1, 2006 Draught sample at the brewpub. Very pale with a faint hint of haze in the body and a touch of head remaining....delicate, grassy nose, with floral (lavender) hints, light pale maltiness, and a bit of sweet lemon....body is very soft and creamy with a healthy noble hop bitterness showing up late....very fresh, newly-cut spring grass texture, quite bitter at the finish but held together well with rich malt backdrop. Nice, very very nice. Sammy (4057), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 9, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Kolsch works if you get it right, but it seems to be easy to get wrong and here I got a thin higher carbonated sweet-sourness that wasn’t intended and did not work together. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 29, 2007 Draft pint at the brewpub; Bright yellow with a filmy white foam top, lightly carbonated. The aroma is just lightly fruity. Flavor-wise, this presents a full-bodied fruity malt with only a hint of starchy sugar. The tart finish is a bit fuller than those I remember in Koeln, but this is a nice hoppy little light ale. (#2823, 4/25/2007)
