Poured a little lighter than most fests. Looked somewhat like my wit. Aroma is lemons and a little sweet malt. Flavors were lemons, sweet malts, and a wee bit o’ hops. eh.

On Draft at Jacksonville’s Follio Weekly Beer and Music Fest. Bright yellow in color with an average sized white head. Malty aroma with hints of lemon. The flavor mirrored the aroma, malty with hints of lemon and citrus. Light body.

Draft. Golden amber with a thin head. Sweet malt aroma. Spicey hop flavor with a sweet caramel backing. Clean aftertaste and easy to drink.

Gold, leaning slightly to copper. My sample had no head while the other three beers had heads. The aroma is pretty weak, but that’s not surprising with a lager. The flavor grows on you. It starts out kind of blands, but grows a nice clean caramel malt body that is exceedingly chuggable. I would prefer a beer with a bit more body, but if I were just out drinking, I wouldn’t complain about drinking this.

This is a typical German beer made in America. It is pretty close to the German Festbiers from München. A bit thin maybe compared to the good ones from Germany.

Medium-dark gold. Very slight aroma. Somewhat spicy, crackery and dry. medium long hop and toasted grain finish. Slightly acidic. Solid mouth. Good with food.
