Ratings by Veeve, Back by Popular Demand, on Vacay in the lovely Savannah, Georgia. This beer is found on tap at the MoonRiver restaurant and brewing site on Bay Street in Savannah, GA. A very grainy aftertaste. A good example of its German style, certainly met its intention. see-through watered down copper color. good if you like these German beers but not a GREAT one of its kind. not as complex as you might want. not much else to say. its what you would expect. a bit of bitter aftertaste/a bit burnt.

very boring... not much spice or hop notes... all the beers I tried while at the brewer seemed a little warm and flat...

Golden color. Warm bready aroma. Biscuity flavor followed by a clean, almost soapy/grassy hop finish.

(Rating #2253)

Appearance: Clear, very light amber body with an exceedingly thin, white head. Smell: Sweetish, toasted grain hints with even vaguer hints of fruit. Taste: Pale malts with a hint of lightly toasted grains and a very faint caramel sweetness. A touch of apple fruitiness. Tempered Noble hop spice character with an altogether mild bitterness. Thin and lightly sweet for the finish. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A rather mediocre, bland approach to such a delightful style of beer.

Very pale amber. Crackery, lightly dry. Some biscuit and light toast. A fairly mild, straightforward example of the style.

Pale copper/golden with small tan head. Mild malty aroma with some toffee and caramel. Mild carbonation, thins at finish. Really quaffable. Very nice easy approachable beer. Sweet grain predominates. A very good food or session beer. Clean and dry.

I wasn’t sure what this was supposed to be at first, tasted like a boring amber. Not much going on here, bland and undistinctive in any way. Caramel malt and thats about it. A little watered down with almost no aroma or finish.
