Aug 25, 2006 I had this at the Moon River Brewing Company after walking around the Historic district of Savannah. Dark yellow with a slight foamy head. Very smooth and refreahing with light bitter spicy after taste. I asked for seconds...

Mar 2, 2008 Pours a nice copper with good sized white head. Bready malt on the nose. Taste is sweet malt with little if any hops noticable. Great for the style.

Mar 19, 2007 Gold. Fresh hoppy aroma, with good head. Creamy smoothness. Slight bitterness but is refreshing and clean. Had on River Street in Savannah.

Apr 29, 2007 Draft pint at the brewpup; True amber and quite active, this looks yummy. Light malty aroma. This is a decently interpreted Fest, lightly caramelled but with a predominate malt basis, wraps up with a nice hoppy bite in the finish. Well balanced. (#2825, 4/25/2007)

Aug 3, 2007 Tap at brewery. Light caramel malt aroma - just detectable. Golden yellow with a small head. Nice malty flavor with light hint of caramel. Moderate hops - much more than is typical for the style but works nicely. Very well balanced. Very nice.

May 1, 2006 Draught pint at Fiddler’s Crab restaurant in Savannah, GA. Light clear gold with a lasting touch of white head....pale malty nose, grassy and lightly citric, touches of caramelized apple, a little low-powered....but the flavor profile is strong and delightful, with delicate Hallertauer spiciness from start to finish, light pale and heavier caramelized malts well extracted, smooth but with a noticeable sweet, spicy bite, extremely fresh (especially for an Octoberfest in April!). Really well done.

Feb 18, 2008 from the tap poured amber with a good amount of head. Nice flavor with a good lasting finish.
