| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 21, 2009 on tap at the brewpub. Wow, what an underrated pale ale. This is a hazy gold color with a good head. The nose sports nicely pronounced hops with lots of citrus like clean grapefruit, orange, and some wooden bitterness. The flavor is clean and dry leaning though certainly crisp and refreshing. Lots of citrus is evident in the flavor while maintaining a commendable balance and admirable realization of a now classic American style. Very solid offering.
