| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 17, 2008 The aroma was citrusy and hoppy and quite resinous and grassy. A caramel not lurked behind the hops as well as a lightly fruity nature, but the aroma was mostly hops. The beer arrived lightly hazy with a white frothy tall long lasting head which laced the glass. The flavor was nicely bittered with a citrusy and resinous grassy presence. Caramel was again in the background and gave a light bit of sweetness. Otherwise the flavor was filled with orange and grapefruit. The finish was dry with lasting citrus into the aftertaste. The body was medium with a somewhat low level of carbonation and a creamy texture on the palate. A nice brew. Pint at the Brewpub. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 30, 2007 On tap at the Durham WBF. Funny, I have been to the brewpub several times, and use a pair of their shaker glasses regularly, but I rate from a sample at a fest in NC... anyway, clear gold with a white head. Citrusy grapefruit nose, some orange and light grass. Medium body, nice lace. Light, sweet caramel is almost overwhelmed by the rich grapefruit, but not quite. Mildly dry grapefruit finish lingers. Very good! KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
