Sep 5, 2007 Draft sample at SBGF07 in Chattanooga. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Good sour citrus hoppy aroma. Light to medium body. Moderate sweet hoppy citrus flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration.

Aug 21, 2007 draught at brewpub. Pours bold copper with a small white head. The nose is piny with hints of grapefruit, quite floral and aromatic. The flavor packs enough bitter punch with grapefruit and other citrus. Underneath, I find some U.K.-IPA acidic tones like wood. Malts are semi sweet and doughy. This has been my favorite brew from Moon River thus far.

Aug 10, 2007 While slightly on the light side for my taste, this IPA is well balanced and nicely hopped. It has a rich amber color and enjoyable mouth-feel.

Aug 3, 2007 Tap at brewery. Sweet orange/grapefruit hops aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Sweet orange and pine hops flavor. Finish was initially sweet but then turns dry. Nicely made.

Jul 30, 2007 Brilliant orange-amber body, no head. Aroma is all hops. Flavor has a good sweet base accentuated by a punch of citrus and piney hops. The dry bitterness lingers into the finish where a moderate alcohol warmth sets in. Tasty IPA.

Jul 16, 2007 Draught. Pours copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma has some nice grapefruit hops going for it, as well as the flavor. The body is thick, and the malty backbone is solid enough to back up the aggressive hops.
