Jan 24, 2006 2005 GCBC. Orangy clear pour with a touch of yellow and a subdued but sticky head. Decent amounts of citrusy hop aroma, with some back of caramel malt. More piney and citrusy hop flavors, with a decent balance of caramel malt. Malt flavors were semi-sweet, and the flavors balanced dcecently. Finished even drier with a good bitter bite. Good IPA.

Dec 28, 2005 On tap at the 2005 GCBC: Pours a clear deep golden color with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma has lots of pine and lemony citrus hops with mild light caramel malt. Body starts lightly sweet and pale malty with a very nice, fresh hoppy balance. Finishes crisp, dry and bittersweet. A very nice IPA.

Oct 18, 2005 Yet another very solid IPA at the WBF in Durham, NC. This one was pretty mild on the hops. And a lot fruity. There were some nice malts happening too as I recall. I would definitely try this beer again... And what’s more, I will have to begin trying some other beers from this brewery. Huzzah!

Oct 10, 2005 Draught. Clear light amber color. Citrusy, hoppy aroma. Grassy hop flavor which is not very well balanced with the malts. Not the best IPA I’ve had.

Oct 5, 2005 Very pleasent creamy sweet fruit and hop juice nose. Spicy pumpkin scents present as well. Grassy and moldy tasty, old, sweaty hop flavors abound, however overall it’s a very simple IPA. Doesn’t try too hard, just settles on being a simple tasty brew, with a sweet lemon and grassy rye flavor. Mildly abrasive palate with a leafy hop finish. I enjoyed this one.

Sep 12, 2005 Draft sample at the Southern Brewers Festival (9/05). Poured orangish and yellow with minimal to no head. Grapefruit and spicy hops, also the aroma is a bit treeish. Almost crisp smelling but a bit of soapiness too. Spicy and pine-ish hops. Also a bit of a nutty flavor with some light malt hints. Medium full body.

Aug 4, 2005 Sampller @ brewpub. Poured a medium golden color with a little white lacing. Grassy and piney hop aroma and taste. A little sweet in the finish. My fav of the night.

Jul 10, 2005 On Draft at Jacksonville’s Follio Weekly Beer and Music Fest. Amber in color and white head. Little lacing. Strong malty aroma. Bitter flavor from start to end. Reminded me of an Ice Tea with lemon flavor. a great light bodied beer.
