Commercial Description:
Like its namesake, this strong ale is known for the sneak attack. Hop-heads will enjoy its assertive bitterness and huge floral, dry hop aroma.

A superb IPA! Thick head, deep copper coler, nice brussels lace, and (best of all) a wicked, in-your-face, bite o’ hops dryness. Back all this up with a firm 6.8% abv punch, and you’ve got a solid IPA here. Swamp Fox reminds me a lot of another great GA-bred IPA: Sweetwater IPA. Unfortunately, SF is only available on draft. If you’re ever in Savannah TRY THIS BEER!

On draft Classic City Brewfest, Athens GA. This IPA is mostly clear dark yellow and creates a decent head that emits a fresh pine aroma. Starts slightly sweet with a clean bitter finish.

Pours a deep orange huewith a strong hoppy scent to it. Has a citrusy flavor that is too bitter for me.

Sampled at Charlotte Oktoberfest ’04. Nothing incredible, but a good IPA. Nice dry mouthfeel from the hops. I’ll have to try to find more beers from this brewery.
