Jun 6, 2009 On Tap at City Beer. Pours with a golden body and a white head that lasted and left great lace. Aroma of hops, fruit and caramel. Taste is similar to my Imperial Red (where I copied the PtE hop bill), fruity, a bit of a thin malt profile, with pine hops. Water like mouthfeel.

Jun 3, 2009 On tap at ToronadoSD. Poured a dark gold/light amber with a nice sized white head. Aroma was of citrus, earth, and a bit of caramel and sweet malt. Flavor was pretty solid overall, and thought it was probably slightly above average fo the style. Earthy.

May 29, 2009 On tap at toronado. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Faint hoppy aroma. Sweet honey, very bready citrus taste.

May 25, 2009 Tap @ Toronado. Pours medium golden copper color with a thin off white head. Faint nose of citrus and some sweet malts. Flavor was more carmely than anything, light hop bitterness. Not really fair to this beer that I drank 2 big double iPA’s before........

May 24, 2009 On tap at Toronado SD. Hazy gold/orange pour, white head. Bitter hops, pine, grapefruit, citrus, grain, and earthy malt. Pretty standard IPA, but good.

Feb 26, 2009 Draft @ Albatross, Berkeley, CA. Pours a clear orange amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy citrus aroma with some piney hints. Malty hoppy bitter citrus piney flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter finish with a long bitter aftertaste.

Feb 2, 2009 On tap at City Beer Store. Pretty standard IPA appearance, orangish amber with a thin white head. Floral hoppy aroma. Strong West coast hoppiness on the flavor, some sweet malt to balance but I would have liked a little more. Palate is average for the style.
