On tap @ Tornado pored a clear gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of light carmel, orange and some other citrus notes. Palate was light bodied. Flavors of carmel, pine and grapefruit rind with a lingering bitter finish.

On Tap at Hop-Yard Pleasanton Aroma: Nice hoppy nose (dry-hopped) slightly grapefruity as well. Appearance - cloudy and deepy golden color very attractive, poured with a very thin off white head Flavor: Nice malat balanced with good bite of bitterness, there were some slight fuity notes as well Palate: Served at good temps, medium body starts with malty sweetness which yields to hoppy bite which lingers Overall: This being second beer from Moonlight brewing I am very pleased I tried. I like an IPA that does not punish my palate with hops

Dark amber colour. Lovely floral, citric aroma. Moderate bitterness, fruity hoppiness. Slightly sticky. The malts are overdone, knocking the balance out of whack. IPAs and chewiness don’t work for me.

Draught at Toronado, San Francisco. Clear amber. Aroma of grapefruit and licorice. Dryish with clean, rounded mouthfeel, unfortunately also somewhat sticky. The malt provides a solid body and some cookie flavours. The hops provide an intense, salty bitter finish.

On tap at the Toronado. A well constructed IPA, that was just hoppy enough, and had the right bitterness to it. Not overly complex or flowery but quite satisfying.

(draft, Toronado) Clear golden body with off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit/herbal. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some herbal. Clean light-medium body. Not a complex beer, but well-flavored.

One of the first true west coast IPAs. Big hop bitterness and nose. little head retention. Columbus and chinook seem prominent with some Centennial or Cascade grapfruit. Clean dry resinous oily and bitter finish. just what it should be.
