Jul 23, 2009 From tap at Magnolia. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is solid hops grapefruity. Mild sweetness, dry and solid bitter flavoured. Grapefruity flavoured into a dry and flavourfull finish.

Feb 15, 2006 Draught at Toronado, San Francisco. Clear amber. Aroma of grapefruit and licorice. Dryish with clean, rounded mouthfeel, unfortunately also somewhat sticky. The malt provides a solid body and some cookie flavours. The hops provide an intense, salty bitter finish.

Feb 25, 2006 Dark amber colour. Lovely floral, citric aroma. Moderate bitterness, fruity hoppiness. Slightly sticky. The malts are overdone, knocking the balance out of whack. IPAs and chewiness don’t work for me.

Sep 18, 2005 (draft, Toronado) Clear golden body with off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit/herbal. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some herbal. Clean light-medium body. Not a complex beer, but well-flavored.

Nov 19, 2009 A Mes rate. Keg at the Rake.Clean orange gold with a thin white head. Fruity malt, not much from the hops other than a bit of bitterness and maybe some grassy undertones. Rather straight forward really. Faintly floral which is nice. Good dry bitter finish but that’s about all it has going for it. Don’t get me wrong it’s not offensive, it’s just not doing much. Crap. Just written my notes and Chris comes back with some more of it and blow me if it’s not completely different. This is much better. The malt comes through a lot more and gives it a pleasant supporting backbone and a really good delicate underlying sweetness. Excellent tangerine notes go really well with the malt and gives it a good marmalade character. First pull - average, later on - tasty.

May 20, 2004 Tap, Toronado, San fransisco. Nice one, went well with pizza aswell. Citrus Grapefruit, pine, lychee, all the usuals are there, typically hoppy, rich, sweetish IPA, quite tasty.
