Tap at O’Brien’s Wet Hop Fest 2006. For some reason, this beer was deleted when I originally entered it. Thankfully I back up my ratings. Medium/dark golden color in my glass. I found this beer to be nicely hopped, somewhat dry. Decent malt character.

Draft at O’Brien’s. Pretty light on the aromas. Flavors were better with pine and more greenery. Not very exciting.

Tasted on tap at the 2007 Bistro Wet Hop IPA Festival. This IPA pours a light gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and citrusy. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. A medium bitter IPA. There is a strong touch of maltyness in this one. . Nice balanced hop flavors. They tend to more at the back of the taste. Good carbonation. Nice lingering hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean, crisp and a touch dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

On draft at O’Briens Wet Hop Festival. This IPA is similar to the Homegrown/Greenbud, and is wet hopped with Chinook hops. Arrived a clear, bright, golden amber with a moderate creamy off-white head. Hop forward aroma (no surprise), grapefruit and other citrus, hints of pine with nice toasty and caramel malt notes to balance. Brash hop flavors, pine and citrus again, with the caramelly notes providing a nice counterpoint to the hops, hints of spoiled vegetal flavors drop the score a hair, and indicate that this is indeed a wet hop brew. Medium body and creamy carbonation. Pleasant and drinkable.
