Relatively light but filled with hops (like sucking on a wet hop bud) but also not as bitter as I would have expected. Rating from notes. mjg74 (1997), La Mesa, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2006 Tap at Toronado. Pours copper to brown with a small head. Strong aromas of pine, resin and citrus. Fairly bitter flavors of resin and hops, quite edgey. No maltiness to speak, just hops as if one bites right into a hops bulb. The first sips are a shock to the sytem but then it tastes actually quite nice. pivo (2535), Germany

It coats the first quarter of the glass then leaves heavy lace the rest of the way down. Big hop aroma of citrus, mostly orange, and pine. Hoppy as hell with a perfectly balanced malt presence. The best wet hopped beer I had this season. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

It’s bitter and hoppy, but in a spicy, herbal way. Nice mint notes with some pine. The flavor is bitter and hoppy with nice pine notes and a little mint, as well as, a little sweet citrus. Definately green tasting. Light to medium bodied, oily and dry.
