Tap @ Toronado. Amber color with a white head. A wet green grass hoppy flavor. Relatively light but filled with hops (like sucking on a wet hop bud) but also not as bitter as I would have expected. Rating from notes.

Tap, O’Brien’s Wet Hop Fest. Pours a dark amber golden color. Aroma consists of skunky hoppy pine thing. Flavor has lots of pine. Bitter skunk finish. Fairly bitter throughout.

Tap at Toronado. Pours copper to brown with a small head. Strong aromas of pine, resin and citrus. Fairly bitter flavors of resin and hops, quite edgey. No maltiness to speak, just hops as if one bites right into a hops bulb. The first sips are a shock to the sytem but then it tastes actually quite nice.

fresh hop nose, of course, gold-amber color, creamy head. Grapefruit sweet-bitterness. Biting hop bitter, dry. This went really well while picking hops at Brians brewery for his next homegrown ale.

On draft. 2005. Hazy copper color with a frothy white head. It coats the first quarter of the glass then leaves heavy lace the rest of the way down. Big hop aroma of citrus, mostly orange, and pine. Hoppy as hell with a perfectly balanced malt presence. The best wet hopped beer I had this season.

Hey is my neighbor smoking a joi...., oh wait that is Hops I smell. named homegrown for a reason. like walking into a field of wet hops. nice herbal and floral notes. some malt sweetness early on that is murdered by Lupulin resins.

Very grapefruity and slight barnyard on nose, honey/ citrusy sweetness and slight barnyard. Minor effervesence and head, almost no lacing.

Very little head tops the golden body of this brew. Wow, waht an amazing aroma. It’s bitter and hoppy, but in a spicy, herbal way. Nice mint notes with some pine. The flavor is bitter and hoppy with nice pine notes and a little mint, as well as, a little sweet citrus. Definately green tasting. Light to medium bodied, oily and dry.
