Grainy regular pils nose, harsh, a little hoppy in the finish, which is well appreciated, though too grainy and moldy tasting overall. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2003 Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is grainy and a touch fruity. A medium bodied lager. Malts are mild a touch fruity. Hops are spicy and slightly bitter. Nicely balanced. Slightly more flavor than I expected from a lager. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a touch of roasted malts. Not sure if it supposed to be there or not, but it makes it a little more interesting. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 10, 2001 Slightly Mexican spice in the nose, high effervescence, very nice bittering spectrum for a very light bodied lager. A bit of crispness is lost in the unbalanced extended tongue. Very nice.
