On tap. Clear deep golden with an off-white head. Sweetish fruity nose and a little yeast. Medium body, caramel, yeast and phenols before a distinct bitterness. Not overly pleasant really. 090709

From tap at Toronado in SF. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild peachy and citrusy hops fruity. Fruity hoppy flavoured with a mild citrusy bitterness and light malt base. Citrusy and peachy lasting hoppy impression. Light bodied and dry.

Tap, Toronado, San Fransisco. Not bad for a lager, i had this pegged as a really weak APA, lemon, with some piney citric bitterness, not too bad as far as pale lagers go.

pretty light, honey and hay aroma, a little fizzy, reasonable bitterness but quite bland in all

Draft at Sonoma Wine Exchange. Nice grassy hop aroma. Light amber color with a great white head. Medium body with very creamy carbonation. Flavor of wheat and malt - very mildly sweet. The finish is malty, but dry! There’s a decent amount of floral and/or grassy hop. This could pass for an ale. It’s also a lot more complex than I’m able to describe.

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Light mineral, light malt aroma. Malty, mineral, earthy, grass, spice flavor. Medium bodied. Spice, mineral, earth, malt lingers. Lots of flavor, but doesn’t all mesh easily.

Tap @ Toronado on 4-2-08. A medium yellow golden color. A nice robust flavor seemingly filled with everything that they could throw at this lager. A malty earthy aroma.
