| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 21, 2008 Cask at Toronado. Clear darker amber, moderate to small head with some retention. Aroma is somewhat grapefruity, somewhat fresh hop. Medium bodied, moderate to low bitterness, very very flat mouthfeel. Too flat for even my tastes. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 13, 2007 Draft at O’Brien’s. Lots of sweet aromas. Sweet flavors too. Not very bitter at all. The notes I have said there were no Kettle Hops. I guess that’s why there’s no bitter finish? Interesting, and not bad. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 19, 2007 Tasted on tap at the 2007 Bistro Wet Hop IPA Festival. This APA pours a dark orange color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and sweet. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel and fruity. The hops are citrusy and floral. Nice crisp hop flavor, even though it’s a little mild tasting. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. SDbruboy (1833), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 10, 2007 On draft at O’Briens Wet Hop Festival. Hazy amber color with a quickly diminishing off-white head. Lightly floral, soapy and toasty in the aroma, with a bit of fruit and citrus. Somewhat malty flavor, but overwhelmed by a kind of soured fruit and rotting vegetable character with dirty yeast notes as well (wet hops gone bad?) Medium body and moderate carbonation. Unfortunate. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2007 Draft @ The Wet Hop Event at the Hayward Bistro. This beer pours a clear light copper with thin white head. The aroma is light with mild malt sweetness combined with fresh grapefruit hops and some spicy hops. I forgot how Cascade hops have a spicy side to them. The flavor has mild maltiness and both mild grapefruit hop flavor and bitterness. Nothing really stands out. It’s pretty smooth and even. drawde (115), San Francisco, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 28, 2007 Draft, Toronado Wet Hop Festival. All of these beers are awesome. In comparison to the others, the Sublimmminal has an apple taste, almost sour, and very smooth on the palate. ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Draft @ The Bistro Wet Hop Fest. Clear and bright, dark amber in color. Very little, if any, aroma comes from this beer. Malty and clean flavor. Not IPA-ish to be sure. A great beer but it doesn’t showcase hops well (if that’s the point- I don’t know).
