Crisp clean crackery malts with a soft floral/herbal hoppy aroma as well. Flavour is quite well-balanced. Clean crackery malts, soft sweetness and a kiss of vienna malts. Minerally but floral hoppiness. Pretty nice beer, really. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA

Nice crisp hop flavor, even though it’s a little mild tasting. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. WeeHeavySD (3042), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Rich amber beer with a nice off-white head. Nice piney, malt aroma. Rich caramel malt flavor with good pine and citrus. Nice balance. Body a little light. Lingering balanced malt, pine, and some fruitiness. Ibrew2or3 (2843), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2007 Draft @ The Wet Hop Event at the Hayward Bistro. This beer pours a clear light copper with thin white head. The aroma is light with mild malt sweetness combined with fresh grapefruit hops and some spicy hops. I forgot how Cascade hops have a spicy side to them. The flavor has mild maltiness and both mild grapefruit hop flavor and bitterness. Nothing really stands out. It’s pretty smooth and even. alexanderj (2286), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 26, 2008 On tap at O’Briens. Amber/orange in color with a white head. Lacing. Aroma of bread, vanilla, butter, earth and grass. Flavor was very buttery; something a bit off for me and too malty for the style. Hops were to mild in my opinion. The notes I have said there were no Kettle Hops. I guess that’s why there’s no bitter finish? Interesting, and not bad.
