Update- Also had on draft: Malty peach flavor upfront with more vibrant mouthfeel. Great clarity. On cask at Toad in the Hole: Piney hop aroma and burnt golden color without head and very few bubbles (cask).Flavor broadens with each sip on a light caramel base accentuated/dominated by prickly ginger mouthfeel. There is pine, peach. earthy grapefruit and bitters echoing throughout. Must be the fresh hops. Not heavy-bodied as expected with a little bit of haze and yeast bits at the bottom of the glass of this welcomed pils.

Draft, Toronado Wet Hop Festival. All of these beers are awesome. In comparison to the others, the Sublimmminal has an apple taste, almost sour, and very smooth on the palate.

Draft @ The Wet Hop Event at the Hayward Bistro. This beer pours a clear light copper with thin white head. The aroma is light with mild malt sweetness combined with fresh grapefruit hops and some spicy hops. I forgot how Cascade hops have a spicy side to them. The flavor has mild maltiness and both mild grapefruit hop flavor and bitterness. Nothing really stands out. It’s pretty smooth and even.

Cask. I never know what to call these wet hop beers, but this one’s not overly hoppy. Rich amber beer with a nice off-white head. Nice piney, malt aroma. Rich caramel malt flavor with good pine and citrus. Nice balance. Body a little light. Lingering balanced malt, pine, and some fruitiness.

Draft at O’Brien’s. Lots of sweet aromas. Sweet flavors too. Not very bitter at all. The notes I have said there were no Kettle Hops. I guess that’s why there’s no bitter finish? Interesting, and not bad.

Draft @ The Bistro Wet Hop Fest. Clear and bright, dark amber in color. Very little, if any, aroma comes from this beer. Malty and clean flavor. Not IPA-ish to be sure. A great beer but it doesn’t showcase hops well (if that’s the point- I don’t know).
