Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops on a lightly malty caramel back ground, leading to a bitter finish.

(On tap - cak - Toronado) Clear, amber golden with a dense and lasting, off-white head leaving laces. Somewhat earthy nut aroma - a tad fusty. Soft and somewhat flat mouthfeel. Fairly light body with notes of nuts and caramel and then a rather bitter finish. 250307

From tap at Flavor. Pours clear and golden amber with a small and nicely lacing off-white head. Aroma is crisp grapefruity and light orange fruity. Mild fruity flavoured with a good dry roasted malt base. Smooth and nicely balanced flavoured finish with a lasting malt flavoured impression into the far finish.

Cask at Toronado, San Francisco. Brownish amber, small head. Perfumy grapefruity nose. medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Some cookie malt and caramel, long very bitter finish. Very direct and assaulting. Lovely surface but not much depth.

Draught (cask), Toronado. Head is mostly lasting. Body is dark amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cookie), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, apricot), with a note of black tea. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyable rendition.

Cask at the Toronado. Very fruity/citrusy aroma. Dark mahogany color with a decent off-white head. Medium bodied with mild, creamy carbonation. It’s a bit of roasted malt, but mostly citrus and floral hop. Very smooth. Finishes nicely bitter. Very good and flavorful.
