Straw color with a bright soft peak egg white head. Sour cream with a touch of pale malt aromas. Flour water flavors with a touch of floral bitterness. Lightly fizzy feel. A light bitter linger. Boston raters seem to love it though.

Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain/cereal), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of plastic and DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Terrible, just terrible. Chemical smell, watery, thin, fizzy, artificially sweet.

12 ounce bottle from City Market in Burlington VT, contents liberated just above fridge temperature into a Michelob glass, which is probably too good for them. Soft, creamy but very small head atop a bubbly weak golden clear body.....nose is cheap Pillsbury biscuits and warm flat old Sprite....flavor tastes like putting that Sprite and those biscuits in a blender at high speed, then straining it into a melty plastic container, leaving that in the sun for a few days, then force-carbonating it or perhaps just adding some very fizzy tonic water. Throw in a half-teaspoon of artificial lime juice and, voila! An obvious candidate for Beer of the Year.

Very clear with a yellow hue; thin, quickly fading head. Strangely skunky at first, but the aroma fades away quickly. Crisply carbonated; thin body; wet finish. Light and dry malt flavors; notes of bland crackers. Curiously fruity, with a hint of something that kind of tastes like lime. Touch of sourness, too. Bitterness is very mild. Nothing special, but fairly easy to drink. Much better than that B to the e stuff.

This beer tastes like every other beer in this category, after having a few others before it. They have this in the bottle at Summit’s. This beer is smooth, but with less caffeine than a cup of coffee and considering my tolerance for alchohol and caffeine this beer really did not do much for me. However it is quite refreshing and easy to drink.

12 ounce bottle - $1.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. "All Systems Go!" Appearance: Pours out a very clear, bright yellow body with a thin, white head. Smell: Sweetish vapid nose of very light pale malts stirred up with crushed up caffeine tablets. Yeesh. Taste: Bland light maltiness with a bit of sweetness. Again, there’s the medicinal background taste of finely ground caffeine tablets. No real hop character or bitterness. Simply put, the finish is downright icky. Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: All Systems Gack! With or without the caffeine, it’s a woefully unpleasant beer. Swap out one of the O’s in Moonshot with an I and that’s a bit more accurate.

Pale golden body with a soapy white head. Aroma has sweet honey and corn syrup tones and an odd fruitiness sort of like kiwi. More honey and sweet kiwi-lime in the flavor. Tastes like weak iced tea. Oily palate. Not a palate cleanser, but a pick-me-up between beers instead.

found an old bottle on the clearance shelf for a buck. a hazy gold pour under a small frothy white head. buttery aroma. flavor is not bad with a hint of butter and caramel. light bodied. no flavor alteration from the caffeine. cleared up my headache from working in the sun all day. about as much caffeine as 1/2 a cup of coffee.
