Oct 30, 2007 Cask at Market Porter. Light golden colour, very faintly spicy (hops, not spices) aromatic Goldings with a light pumpkiny aroma. Comes across as a little bit wheaty and bananay. Banana like mbege ale though, not hefeweizeny (lots of strange adverbs, I know). Unlike in North America, there is no spiciness to cover up the pumpkin, so you can actually taste it. A very interesting beer. Lingering earthy bitterness and a soft berry fruitiness. A very interesting beer.
